We collect personal information you provide when registering as a cooperative member, including your full name, employee number (PNO), National Identification Number (NIN), phone number, email address, and bank account details. We also collect financial transaction data including savings deposits, loan applications, repayments, and commodity orders processed through this portal.
Your information is used solely to operate and administer your cooperative membership account. This includes processing savings and loan transactions, generating financial statements and reports, sending SMS/email notifications about your account activities, and complying with regulatory obligations applicable to registered cooperative societies in Nigeria.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your information may be shared with authorised payment gateway partners (e.g., Paystack, Monnify) solely to process your payment transactions, and with SMS/email service providers for the purpose of delivering account notifications. All third-party partners are bound by confidentiality agreements.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Financial transaction data is protected by role-based access controls.
Your data is retained for the duration of your membership and for up to 7 years thereafter, in line with Nigerian financial recordkeeping requirements. Upon formal resignation from the cooperative, your personal data will be anonymised or deleted upon written request, except where retention is legally required.
As a member, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data held by the cooperative. To exercise these rights, please contact the cooperative office in writing.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Members will be notified of significant changes through the portal or via SMS/email. Continued use of the portal after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
